Surfing out Metaverse
Today the metaverse is considered the future artificial environment where human minds will interact in a pseudo-real way, with objects imported from reality and modified within the virtual world.
Our Work embraces, shares and develops a current of thought that supports the infinite richness of real life and its superiority over virtual fantasy. In fact, the work shows a surf that comes out of a sort of Metaverse and materializes into a real object that defies the ocean and the wind.

The Edge. The edge, the boundary. In this experimentation, the authors worked on how to merge and confuse repeated, multiple conceptions of reality and when and what and how the edge can be ascertained. But what moves humanity to seek, create and a new world?
Greek philosophy in its search for the causes of becoming manifested itself as the main instrument to the satisfaction of the fundamental interest: liberation from the terror of life. At the height of our history the other great remedy against terror has been the scientific-technological organization of experience. The metaverse then becomes a myth that gathers world events within a unified explanation and determines a stable interpretation of the universe where events lose their terrorizing unpredictability and conform to the cosmic order enunciated by the metaverse.
The surf is real object on which the author has actually risked losing his life and is man-made instrument to ride the wave, to surf the unpredictable events, to survive the becoming of existence and ride the uncertain and indefinite wave that becomes infinitely. The metaverse is thus represented as a small world full of rules on which man surfs with confidence without the need for false but predictable worlds. Spiritual, philosophical, technical and artistic exercise on which we can reiterate our most deep-seated fears.
